*A quick note about these "CDs On My Shelf" posts: Although I may refer to these as "reviews" occasionally, they aren't reviews in the pure sense of the word. My discussions about these CDs are purely subjective- my own personal opinions. My ratings are based on how I feel about them. Factors like how much I listen to them, if I love the band, and how much I emotionally connect to songs weigh more heavily on these ratings than factors such as the complexity of the songs or the talent of the musicians (although these factors do certainly play a part!)*
